📍 LOCATION: Casting Nationwide - Shooting will take place in Toronto, On
📅 DATES: Between March 20-April 30, 2026 (competitors needed for approx. 15 days)

MASTERCHEF CANADA is seeking individuals who are :

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS:
You must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
You do not currently work as a professional chef and you must disclose if you have ever previously worked as a professional chef or have earned income from preparing and/or cooking food in a professional environment.
You will need to include two videos and multiple photos that highlight your personality and cooking skills.
You must review and agree to the Online Agreement and Release at the end of the Application.
TIPS FOR SUBMITTING PHOTOS & VIDEOS
Review the application in its entirety before filling out.
Your videos can be filmed on a smartphone. We do ask for recent photos of you, your signature dish and a dish you’ve recently prepared. All details of required visuals can be found in the application. Please note that photos and videos DO NOT need to be professionally shot and/or edited.
Make sure that your phone/device is in landscape mode (hold sideways please) so we see you full frame.
Make sure that your environment is quiet and well lit. Be sure there’s no music or TV playing in the background.
It is best to have your light source in front of you.
Do not use filters
Do not add music.
Do not exceed 90 seconds for your Introduction Video.
Do not exceed 4 minutes for your Cooking Presentation Video.
