WHAT
Aaron Paris is a record producer, composer, and violinist based in Toronto. He is the founder of Strings From Paris — a collective dedicated to breaking down barriers between classical musicians and contemporary music. His latest project, Lotusland, blends his classical roots with his modern production sensibility. More than just an album, it’s a sample pack, a live experience, and soon to be … a cinematic film.
Lotusland (the film) aims to bring classical music to a new generation by letting people see themselves inside Aaron’s sound. It’s a film about the hands that move a city forward… the unseen lives we pass every day — and about noticing, honoring, and humanizing them.
The approach is documentary at its core. Honest, present, never faked — with just enough movie magic to let everyday moments feel cinematic. We follow people as they are, and let their routines, textures, and micro-victories carry the film.
Our goal is to fee the city breathing in time with the score.

*Each person is likely to be needed for one day only.
WHERE
We are shooting in Toronto and the surrounding communities (Ajax, Brampton, Hamilton, Scarborough) - we will be coming to the neighbourhood or local area for each of our participants.
